For over a decade, De Schrijversacademie (The Writers' Academy) has successfully offered its Creative Writing program in Dutch. This October, we are excited to launch the program in English, and we need a dedicated teacher to join our team. The program offers the students 8 meetings/classes over a period of several months. In the beginning we only offer the program twice a year.

! Please note, this is a vacancy for the Writers' Academy and not for NTI. Like the NTI, the Writers' Academy is part of the Salta Group. Your application will be processed by the Writers' Academy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Teach Creative Writing to adults in English.
  • Provide substantive feedback on students' written work to help them refine and improve their writing style.
  • Contribute ideas for the reading list to ensure it suits the target audience.
  • Conduct classes for groups of up to 12 adults, located around Utrecht.
Jouw profiel
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; native proficiency is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with various digital learning environments and automated systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to give constructive feedback in both written and verbal form.
